So I did a video yesterday aimed at giving some tips on how to make a round or plumper face appear a little slimmer, a little more defined: the main points are to define the eyebrows to balance your face - making your face appear narrower, whereas sparse eyebrows make your face seem wider. Secondly to use bronzer around the face and bring down in > shaped motions to create the illusion of cheekbones
Obviously this isn't going to make your face look like Naomi Campbell's BUT it does give some definition and just makes you look a little more angular!

The best product to combat dry skin
So I have like mega dry skin, if it was left it would get really flaky, especially down my nose and inbetween my eyebrows: all through high school this bugged me, and I have tried lots of different products to try and help relieve the dryness - about 18 months / 2 years ago I came across the best product!
Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm: http://www.nealsyardremedies.com/Wild-Rose-Beauty-Balm
The main trouble with this is the price £35 is A LOT for a skin cream I think. On Ebay you can usually find one for £25 bringing it down a little but still quite pricey - however it completely blitzes dry skin and leaves your skin feeling really nice: it's multi use and I sometimes use it as a primer.
Talking of which, I love Smashbox Photo-Finish Primer: http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.225690 and have used this for about 18 months or so, however it is costly and only lasts me about 4 months (using it everyday) so I was looking at other primers...

BARE ESCENTUALS PRIME TIME - FOUNDATION PRIMER was what I found! http://www.lookfantastic.com/beauty/bare-escentuals/foundations/bare-escentuals-prime-time-foundation-primer-30ml.html
This is £14.50 so a little more affordable and is like a serum which hydrates your skin - so far I'm really liking it and it seems to do just as good a job as Smashbox: which means a lot me saying that as I LOVE Smashbox!
So if you have dry skin those are my 2 current must haves <3 hope this helped someone :)

Nearly party time over till Feb!
This was the final look I went for on NY eve - discovered a fantastic highlighter but am considering getting a nightime foundation with no SPF apparently the SPF reflects when with a camera flash - which would be why often on nights out I look like a ghost in pics!?
Happy New Year!!
Here are some more of my NY party style looks - one more look to come and then going to focus back on work looks and everyday make up! (Though I admit there isn't tooo much difference for me haha) Hope everyone had a fab NY and lets hope 2011 is incredible!! :)

Gold and Blue
http://www.youtube.com/user/princessxpunz?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/G4UhbQ5oM74
Sooo was playing around yesterday and created this gold and blue look. At the moment I'm thinking a lot about day to night looks, as for me anyways a lot of events might start at say 4 in the afternoon but then turn more partyish later on so you're out from the day to the night and you want make up to carry you through! So this is a simple look that I think ticks that box, I'm also trying to upload a blue/purple electric look which will be on my youtube shortly. Let me know if you like them - and which style of video you prefer!

Oh Na Na... What's My Name?!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6K5x4Oh6iY
New video uploaded based veryyy vaguely on Rihanna's soft purple look in her Oh Na Na video - obviously minus the sex appeal as that woman is a Goddess at the moment!! Also uploaded a review of a Front Cover Palette I got at Xmas: the Go Go Go one - it's pretty good, overall defo worth the money and some gorgeous colours my only problem with it is that my brushes don't pick up enough pigment, hoping the ELF ones I ordered will pick up more - will let you know!
